Trevor Bayne will not repeat. Neither will Jimmie. So much for Kurt. Danica came away better then the rest involved, but any damage will usually take you out of contention at Daytona

Well maybe Jimmy had help by way of Elliot Sadler.

Elliott Salder proved once again why he runs second tier. Danica is out of contention, but will probably be back on the track.

Remember at Daytona testing how Chad Knaus said that car wasn't to go out drafting? IT had so much work in it, those illegal pillars, all that slick work on that car.....

My friend at RCR talked to me about this race. I asked him why with a race that is such a crap shot you put so much into it, like clear coating the car, spending extra hours in the fab shop, just for a car that could be taken out by something not even your own doing. He said the cost is justified because the payout for hte Daytona 500 can carry a team for a whole year, so anything that may give you that little edge racing for a hundreth of a second at the end....

One of my picks, AJ Allmendginer, goes to the garage because Ryan Newmans tire changer couldn't tighten a damn tire.

And I'm pretty sure that is how Gilliland secured his job and Kvapil walked. Gillilards 3rd place finish in the 500 last year financed all of Front Row Motorsports for the year

The tire thing would have actually been the jackmans fault. What I really meant is that he looks like a bumbling idiot. That thing on the back stretch was clumsy. He a real nice guy tho
