Anyone else notice:
Looks like a "TORINO" thread to me !!!
How Ironic.. your right! The control panels havent changed...but everything else has over the years...
I guess like the saying goes...
If it aint broke why fix it?
Thanks Duane!

Photo of the day: A shot of Richard Petty and the crew preparing one of the famed Petty blue 1970 Plymouth Superbirds in the shop. It is apparently the car for Riverside, California (so either January or June) since the fuel filler is on the right side.

I'm just glad someone else cna enjoy the shots with me.
If you would like to air some requests, I'll see what I can do. Of course, I "specialize" in 1968-1972 era.... so I can get a lot more interesting shots in that time frame. But if you have something else you want to see, let me know.
Let me know if you like racing action shots, garage shots, pit shots... just name it. I'm getting to hwere Ilike the garage, shop, and pit stop shots... they're more rare.

Definately the era your runing with is right up my alley...I believe thats when my Nascar racing interest really started for me....being a child of the 50's....Ive always had the interest in racing...it started at 4 yrs old for me,racing quarter midgets....that my dad and his friends built for us kids to race...As it grew in popularity..we met Gordon Johncock...and it all took off from there! Besides I think all the history of how things were back then verses now....Is like compareing armstrong steering to power steering! (like they had back then!) ask Cale Yarbourough...
So, count me in on all things Nascar that you provide!
Thanks Duane!
