2012 and 2013 models
So Ford has chosen to stick with the Fusion instead of the Mustang. Dodge is sticking with the Charger instead of the Challenger, and Toyota is using the Camry because well, what else would Toyota use? Anyways, last time I heard, which was about a month ago, Chevy had STILL not revealed what they were using for their future in Nascar. My guess is they will stick with their four door car like the other three manufacturers did. Any updates or opinions from the MCF?

I think Chev might switch it up to the Malibu. I imagine the Impala will be discontinued in the near future or changed up to the Caprice/G8 platform. Malibu and Impala seems to compete for the same customer. Chev does not want to bastardize the Camaro by changing up the body lines to make it a stock car, so I think its gotta be the Malibu

There have been thoughts for a long time that Ford would go to the Mustang... ever since hte Thundebirds were discontinued in '97. Problem is, the market NASCAR appeals to car wise doesn't exist anymore. That mid-size, 2 door muscle car just isn't around anymore....
