Default Supercharged Models

As far as I know, the 3800 Supercharged engine was onlyavailable in the 04 & 05 models. Could you also get a non-supercharged 3800engine in an SS modelthose years????

I don't think in 05 because they added a middle trim line, I think it went LT, LTZ (which was the reg SS but without ground effects (like in 00-03 models)) and the SS. but in 04 you could.

if you read that site about the middle of the page it says

"For 2005, Chevrolet has changed the 2004 naturally-aspirated SS model to the LT model, making three in the basic line-up: LS, LT and Supercharged SS"

I was confused about the '04'sand earlier because I thought the SS meant that it was S/C. When I gotmy '05 LT and the SS only came supercharged.
