Thanks for your post and thoughts...I agree!
I find it sad that a future winner could be a inactive member & not comply to the rules...

Do our member's think 12 posts a month is to high ? How long does it take to log on to the MCF 3 times a week & post a "Hi to Member's" on our MCF `Blog ? or to greet a new member, etc ? Is that asking to much ?

Our Staff is reviewing this issue..Until then please search our member's Monte's that are active & contribute to our forum.

Space 12 post per month is not high at all

The MOTM winner should have an interest in the Forum
Many times I post just before hopping in the shower before work
Logging in should be fun not a chore for any potential MOTM candidate

 

I agree, 12 posts per month shouldn't be much to ask, although reality is we still seem to be getting thin on eligible members right now.

 

Rules are rules I think, why would you want a non active member to be able to be nominated? They aren't going to all of a sudden be active if they won, and if they do, it will probably wear off after a few weeks. Give props to the active members no matter what gen car they have since they are the ones keeping the forum active, right? You cant hint to nominate a certain gen car, that is biased IMO. Maybe MCF should think of ways to get more members active somehow. I just can't see bending the rules for some but not for others. Again, JMO.

Somehow is the key ? We all are the MCF (Monte Carlo Family)
We all will be only as good as we make it to `be 4-Sure...Our Staff are also member's...there job is to monitor the forum to see that member's are complying to our MCF rules...We can make some of the member's happy some of the time, but sadly we can't make all of the member's happy all of the time > even though we try..... I think we all try to do what is best for the majority of our MC Family >Peace/Out
