Cool ?>Question for Member's?<

Hi Member's,
What is the criteria or reasons that you choose to nominate or vote for a member's Monte Carlo ?

What are your reasons ? How do you select a Member's Monte Carlo for nomination ?

How to you decide your `vote ?

Look 4ward to your post(s) > reasons.

I'm hoping threads like this inspires everyone to update their Monte Picture Gallery and also to keep in mind the member's Monte's you view during your visits to the MCF that you like & think would be a good candidate for MOTM.

The MCF will only be as good or bad as the membership makes it > Yes, 4-Sure...

Do you think your Monte should be in the Contest ?
Let us know why ? Don't `be shy > be proud of your Chevy Monte Carlo Thanks 4 reading & considering the words in this thread... "Trying to make it better for everyone"
OK, your turn

When I support or nominate a member I look first at the member's positive activity, what problems they had to overcome to get their Monte into shape. Next I consider the Monte itself does it show that the member takes an interest in it?

Thats not fair. Iv seen other generations nominated and winning. Most of the members are 6th gens beacuse they are cheap beautiful cars and they are newer. I understand its harder for older gens to be active but they are beautiful deserving cars.

Fair? No. True? Yes.

Edit: this is just what I have seen from this site since I've been a member. Awesome cars with HUGE builds have lost/not been nominated/barely won. I could elaborate more, but I won't - for argument sake. Bottom line - get really friendly with as many people as you can, post a lot, and you shall win... After being nominated and losing a few months in a row. Just sayin.

I'd vote for an old school Monte in a heartbeat just most of the active members have the 5th gens and up.

Going to start a thread for ole school Montes - put your Ole 4th gen or older there ....Publicize yourself

Hi `John,
I may not agree with your assumption, but I respect your
right to post `it. LoL
I agree that the 6th-7th Generation Monte Carlo's
had a 8 year run production & are the latest & best on
the market for a decent price.
I believe each generation Monte has something special
to offer to fit just about everyone that desire a
unique & special `ride.

Also `John, I laughed when I read your post knowing
that your award winning 5th Gen Monte Won the MCF MOTM for April 2012.
That must have been a

I seriously don't think that it was a fluke that you won & I do believe that the majority of our member's have the latest generation Monte Carlo's.

I know Space has tried to get more generations to join the MCF & we are starting to get more. Thanks `John, for your opinion & being a winner of the MOTM + being a active contributing member on the MCF

===========================================

Thank You Mr Tadd & `David for your post/words

p.s. I hope our member's encourage members with
all generation Monte Carlo's to be active & get
involved with your forum.
There's great Monte Carlo's of all generations &
we need to get them involved & if you find a member with
one > Please nominate them 4>Sure!
Thanks everyone, now lets get back to having `fun.

Peace/Out Bum'Mike
