You have to know someone with a nice big camera, even if they don't do specificaly car pics, normally they can pull it off. Heck, I got a bunch of pics for $20.
For the 2010 calendar, I put a couple smaller pictures inside the main picture. It gave a couple alternate views. Engine bay, interior, opposite angle, etc. But I found that doing that cluttered up the page too much. Didn't look good. But the 2010 calendar was a learning experience on many levels.
I'm with Brock. Having one really spectacular picture looks much better than a cut and paste job. Too hard to make out what's really going on in the picture from any distance more than a few feet away.
As far as using professional photographers go. You really don't need a pro, or a super expensive camera to take a great shot. Even average priced cameras are good at taking great shots. The full automatic mode in most cameras now does an excellent job.
And professional photographers usually copyright their work. And we can't use copyrighted pictures in our calendar unfortunately.
Finding ONE picture is going to be one of the more difficult decisions I've had to make
How much time do we have?
Might have to get my car and camera out this weekend so I've got some up to date pictures

Yea, you don't need anything fancy. I just assumed everybody might know someone with a nice camera, and as long as you tell them the calendars won't be sold for profit they normally won't mind.
