Has anyone done a TB swap?

Claim is 7-12 HP. Looks like I have found my next mod.....

How much? And can you run it on a s/c engine. By the way, how much added ponies does an underdrive pulley on the s/c give you? Anyone?

wonder what you would get in portign out your stocker compared to this one?
Im sure this is a bigger bore then stick but i would tink you could get some ginas out o a good polishing on the stocker.

Also im still looking in to if the one from a North star Cad. 3.* will fit on our cars and what it would do for us to do it.

 

How much does a ZZP TB cost? Is there a throttle body screen on a LS?

 

the normal upgrade is 179.00 for the stage 2 it is add a 150.00
but i have feelign that yes there is a screen on yours to. more then likly you have the same as we do for the tb
I think all of the 3800's do.

 

does removing the screen give hp? It seems like alot to do if no gains are netted.

 

they clai it gives some. but i dont think i have heard someone dyno a car before and after the screen removal.
Basically wat it dose is not disturb the air flow as much witch cuses it to flow better threw the TB.
this a polishing would give you gains tobut how much who knows.
