Default Windshield washer fluid low

I have an 07 Monte Carlo LS, and I have filled the Windshield fluid, yet everytime I start my car the little "Windshield Washer Fluid Low" warning comes on yet it's filled. Is there a level or something that senses when it's low and how do I get to it to make sure it's fine.

There's a sensor in the water bottle. Looks like this:

Make sure the sensor isn't gummed up with something, or the plug is not loose on it.

Thank you very much, always wondered if there was a sensor and where it would be.

Dumb question, Is there any easy way to get to it, or do I need to unbolt and take the container out to get to the part I need to inspect.

Not too sure, you might be able to remove the inner liner of the fender to access it through the wheel well, but I don't know how it sits on your car.

It's sort of an odd shape and and I can follow it down and then look under the car and see it, does it matter if there is some fluid in there, I can take the first bolt off that holds it to the car then I assume I have to take the inner liner off to actually get to it.
