I just did the heads on my 01 SS and afterwards found out that the valves are bad on the front head (low compression on one cylinder and leaking intake valve). A friend has a 96 Riviera with a smoked trans, but low miles. He said I can just have the car. Will the heads fit since they're both Series II 3.8? It sure looks like it would, but I would like to get a few more opinions. His is a NON supercharged as well.

Yes, L36 heads are L36 heads no matter what car it is. However there is a difference in L36 vs L67 heads.

L36: series 2 non supercharged
L67: series 2 supercharged
