So lately when i turn on my 02 ss the green cruise light becomes lit. If the light is lit then the blower will not blow and the homelink is off. If a turn the **** on the blower from 0 to 1 the light will go off. The cruise light goes off after a couple minutes of driving and then the fan will blow and the homelink will come on. Has anyone had this happen to them before? I think it is the warning signs of a bad ignition switch. Any opinions?

 

Sounds more along the lines of a BCM (Body Control Module) issue to me, more so then an ignition switch.
