7th Gen ('06-'07): Why is she shaking so much
2006 Monte Carlo LT 3.9. Car started shaking the other day when I leave red lights. She will shake violently in the front end until I reach about 2000 RPM. Also feels like she's holding back power until I reach said RPMs. Any insight?
Sorry to read about your Shak'in

How many miles on your Monte ?
Have you put your car on a lift to check suspension ?
How has your transmission been shifting ?
Have you had any steering problems ?
Does steering wheel shake when this happens ?
Please post as much information as you can about this problems to help our member's help you...

Good Luck !
I have put about 89209 miles on her. No luck putting her on a lift yet, shifts fine, fluids fine, no steering issues, steering wheel doesn't shake/ just the front end from the hood, no check engine lights. Do have a hole in my right rear tire that I need to get replaced, as of yesterday sitting on a donut. Good question on the tune-up, hoping my parents took it for me while I was overseas but they haven't gotten back to me about it yet...BTW this is why I love this forum, people actually help, who woulda thunk a forum was for that? haha
Radius arm bushings? Some of your rubber bushings might be worn.
Torque converter? Pretty common cause of lurching type issues. Contaminates get in the converter and it will stop locking up smoothly. Only really effects moving from a stop.
Transmission? If the torque converter is having issues the tranny won't be far behind.
How does the transmission fluid look? Did you ever flush it? Was it dirty/burnt/dark at any point?

Sorry I haven't been replying, things kinda got a little busy for me. Got the tire changed very shortly after posting and it's as if the problem never happened. Sounds like it was because of the flat. Thank for ya'lls help.
