wheel bearing

Default wheel bearing

I HAVE A 2001 MONTE DOES IT HAVE A AXLE BEARING AND A HUB BEARING OR JUST A HUB BEARING .

they are one in the same. It is a one piece bearing

they're a hub, with abs sensor and they go quiete often on the gms, i think we sell about 5 or 6 a week @ the store here, i dont think there's any way you can lube a hub assembly

no, should be just 3 bolts to undo and one big nut,and then prying it off...sometimes thats a little difficult to do, but should come off...also NEVER INSTALL HUB WITH AIR GUN! will cause the hub to be defective, and they're not warrantiable if installed with gun

Oh, so thats probably whats causing my drivers side front wheel to squeek when I speed up. What else can that be, I know its not the breaks...?

Yes, what he said. Always find out the torque sspecs and use em. I have replaced 4 in the last 4 months from people over tightening the axle nut.

What kind of torque are we talking about on these hubs. I've never done one before and just curious. 45 lbs, 100 lbs?

118 ft. lbs. or (160)nm
