Exclamation What is this piece

I'm trying to purchase it online and I've tried every combination of torque and motor mount. I have a 2000 Montecarlo pace car edition.

thank you for the response. I'm not sure how it happened to be honest. I felt it pulling funny and decided to check it out. I just assumed it was a wear and tear item. is this not normal?

Engine Mount Bracket Dorman 917 000 | eBay

Ebay seems to have these a lot cheaper but with a black finish. They say they also have a limited warranty. Are these official GM Parts?

Dorman/Motor Mount 917-000 at AutoZone.com

Autozone seems to be selling the same thing.

The parts with a black finish are not OEM (GM). They are made by Dorman, an aftermarket company. They usually have decent quality stuff though.

That break is unusual, you might want to check the lower engine mounts to see if one of them are broken, allowing excess movement and stress on the upper mount causing it to break.

Yeah, I did a little research and saw it was an OE part.

I'll be sure to check that. Thank you.

That is not a common thing from what I've seen. If you have any local junkyards, you may be able to get that for cheap.
