Hi guys.
I just picked up the car yesterday and did a little driving.
I noticed a few things.

1. Abs and track off light keep coming on.

--> I did some research on this and found out that many ppl has same problem.
There seemed to be many solutions and some work, some dont.
My question is what would be the solution I should start off with??

2. After those warning lights came on, I was driving on a highway and it was raining heavily.
there were puddles of water in the highway.
anyways, when I hit around 120, the engine light started blinking.
and then I notice that the car was kinda down shifting itself.
any idea why it does that?? And how should I fix it?

3. After getting those 1 and 2 problem checked, I want to do some mods.

I did some research too but most of them, I had no clue what they were talking about.

Can someone kindly explain what to start from? Just basic mods for now.
I notice that ppl do intakes and stuff.
really liketo know the pricing range as well.

For right now, forget mods, you have some issues to track down, focus on those.

Ok by 120 I assume you mean km/h. The blinking engine light is a misfire happening and the car is going into a safe mode. The most common issues for ABS are either the HUB or the wiring harness goong Bad.

The first thing you need to do is take it to a shop and have them scan the codes. The check engine light can be done by autozone or other auto parts stores, this will tell you which cylinder is misfiring, then we can help you hunt down the misfire.

However the codes for the braking system need to be read by a professional shop with a GM scanner. That will tell you what hub is going bad and you can start troubleshooting from there.
