Weiand Supercharger 142 Question/Issue

I recently got a Weiand Supercharger 142 used not new and I have noticed what I think is an internal leak. After driving on it for awhile my oil is low to almost empty... Any suggestions as to how I check or if I can fix this on my own or is this an issue I need to send it back to Weiand.

About how many miles have you driven it until you discovered it was low on oil ?
