Default 2004 chevy monte ss

Having problems with water coming from air cabin filter
Can the 2006 air cabin filter cover work on the 2004. Because the 2004 model doesn't come with a cover.

Yes, that's what I ended up getting for my 02 Monte and it worked as designed.

Default water problems

I am still having trouble with water getting in my car 2004 Monte Carlo
I removed entire carpet and vowed to not put it back until I find the problem. I love my car don't want to sell it because of this. Please give advice on this I will be very grateful.

@chevyman1966 - I merged your two threads on this issue.

If the water is showing up in the front passenger side foot well, have you tried this solution (I've done it and works great):

If you have done that, is the water still showing in the same location?

Mine was doing the same thing, and what was happening was, the weep holes on the bottom of the passenger door were plugged, and the door filled with water, until it would get so full, it was coming out the speaker hole, and into the front floor board. My daughter was the one who noticed the splashing noise coming from the door, when she was riding in the back seat. Couldn't hear it otherwise. I grabbed the vacuum, and sucked out the holes, and about 2 gallons of water came pouring out. Took a good half hour to drain. Haven't had a problem since! h

I need to find out where to purchase a cabin air filter cover. And is that the only spot that water comes in or are there other trouble spots? Im new to the forum btw and hope i dont look like to much of an idio. Im car smart. But not forum savy. Any help would be apreciated. Im afraid of water shorting something out.
