Some of us have CA smog pumps built into our cars that make the job difficult without rocking the engine forward :P
For those with a CA smog pump, that's a different story in itself (I've seen your smog pump, I'm not sure if I can do it without rocking the engine forward, I'd have to try it on a car sometime to tell).

IMO - too many people don't have smog pumps and rock the engine forward for no reason.
