Default Unplugged harness

So my gear shifter was acting up and decided to take a look, and looked around it to see for any "help"
I took off the panel behind it, and inside i saw an unllugged harness. I didnt plug it together incase its supposed to be unplugged or something would go wrong. Any one know what its for? I can post w picture of it later. I believe there were 3 harnesses (only one unplugged)

Youll need to put up a picture and im sure someone will know right away..

If you cant get a pic right now, whats the year? LS/SS? Options?

Many times the wire harnesses will be there for options your car didnt come with.. But it looks like you say there is somewhere to plug it in so is anything not working??

Harness should consist of heated seat plugs, cigarette lighter, traction control and shift lock wires.
