ok...here's the deal. they work...but i have to wiggle the turn signal stick on the column to get them to come on. so basically if i wanna turn right i have to push up andpull it towards mea little bit to get them to come on samething for turning left but down and towards me.... it's a 96 monte. now it's got air bags...never taken a steering wheel off with air bags before...easy? hard? is this thing goin to go off in my face or should i just leave it to the pros...or is it something else that isn't actually in the column? thank for your help

 

yeah even if u remove the battery it still holds a charge i reccomend taking it to a dealer or someone, sounds like the mechanism that controls the signals inside the column
