Default Turn Signal Switch Replacement

Good evening guys.
2000 Monte LS here, fairly new to me.
I'm replacing the turn signal/wiper switch.
The one that I ordered has the cruise control mounted on arm itself, my car has the steering wheel cruise control button.

When I remove the steering wheel cover, will I be able to just plug it directly in, or will this be a problem?

Thanks in advance!

I went to a Junk Yard and harvested one for 30-bucks.

You'll find them on loads of GM vehicles.
