Trunk actuator cord cut

Default Trunk actuator cord cut

I own a 04 chevy monte carlo ss,I noticed that my trunk release button doesn't work inside the car,so I have to use the key to open my trunk.I trouble shot it and I noticed that the cord was cut.How do I repair it pocket friendly.

Either a u-pull, or get a brake cable off a really cheap thrift store bicycle and cut to size.

Just go to a salvage yard and retrieve one from a wrecked Monte and replace it.

If it was cut, then strip the wire and crimp the wire with a red butt connector and or solder it back together.
