I have the seal leaking on the passenger side of my 2001 3.8 Monte Carlo. Has anyone know what obstacles that I might run into trying to change the seal. I’m not a youngster and I have a 2003 Monte that I liked much better than the 2001 but the transmission died on it.

I think my leak is a front main seal, it started leaking after I swapped the oil over to a synthetic oil. I did the same thing with my wife’s 2003 Silverado 6.0 and no issues it loves the synthetic oil.
