Tranny flush and filter change!
I was finally able to locate a shop that does the pump inlet tranny flush and I recruited them to perform the task on my Monte, changing the filter at the same time. The dealer wanted $140 to do the service and they use the less than favorable cooler line flush, I got it done for $110 with the more complete and safer method.
The things I was noticing was that when I would slow down to say 10mph or less, from anything above 35mph, then accelerate, I'd get a rough/delayed engagement. Meaning I'd step on the pedal and maybe a second or two later I'd feel a rough engagement that was so blunt it would throw my head back a bit. Also, it wouldn't shift to 4th like it should all the time. It would hang in 3rd for a while sometimes.
After getting the service done I noticed it shifted alot smoother, but the real test was gonna be the acceleration from a slow roll after slowing from 35mph or more. I did it 4 times on the way home, my head didn't get thrown back once, nor was the engagement rough. I didn't notice it getting hung in 3rd either. So far so good
It's amazing how much better it feels w/clean fluid and a clean filter.

I don't have a clue what you're talking about, but thanks[&:][\qoute]
I should have mentioned it was the difference in the tranny service methods.

I didn't think about the difference until you pointed them out. I'm going to get mine done soon and i'd prefer it done correctly.
