Has anyone had the tensioner bracket block one of the intercooler port?
Yes. Do you have the "97-98" style alternator bracket?
Look at post 34/35/36. I had to swap to the 99+ alt & bracket and use the zzp alt relocation kit to get enough room on mine (although my intercooler is a different brand than yours). You can see in the pic below how drastically different the bracket is for clearance in that area as its much shorter and slanted rearward.

Thanks, I checked out your post. Nice Build! Discovering this necessity caused me to reminisce on all the 99 style tensioners and alternators I came across from various junkyard visits through out the years. I picked up a 99 style tensioner from the local parts store.I’ll pick up a matching alternator tomorrow when it arrive in the morning at local part store. It appears that I maybe able to get away without the relocation kit but I’ll have a better idea as I continue along.
I picked up the alternator an stopped at the junkyard to get the bolts for the alternator.

I got the tensioner, alternator and bracket connected along with the pump running. With the pump running there some air pockets. I’m unsure if pump angle is effecting flow. Does angle matter?
The last photo shows air pocket with pump running. Any suggestions on how to get rid of air pockets?
