Cool throttle position sensor wire to which fuse..?

Good morning ladies and gents of the MCF world. I have a 97 Z34 Monte that I've been slowly reviving over the last couple years and I've come to a common problem with my car idling rough and stalling out. On my throttle arm, I've cleaned the Mass Air Flo Sensor, replaced the air filter, replaced the IAC valve, replaced the EGR Valve, replaced the throttle position sensor, and replaced all of my hoses. It's still throwing a code for the throttle position sensor so now I'm thinking my electrical wires aren't working for these sensors. Does anyone know which fuse or fuse panel goes to the TPS, EGR, MAF, and IAC? It doesn't mention anything on the fuse panel box to the right.. this may be simple and I don't even realize it.. How much is the typical cost of having a mechanic running replacement wires in a car like this.

Thanks for reading!

It shouldn't cost much to run wires I've heard you have to take the car in after a new tps is installed.

I don't really know what I'd have to take it in for but I don't have to make any adjustments to my TPS as there's nothing to adjust.. I heard some can be tweaked but this is just a piece..

I'm not sure what fuse it could be but you could just use a test light and test every fuse. Keep in mind when testing, some of the fuses may only have power when the key in on.

Idk I think I read on here that the shop has to work some computer magic after installing a new tps.

Wait.. for some reason, I have a feeling you may be right. I read something like that on the internet somewhere. But who would I take it too? I would assume a Chevy Dealer would be able to explain that.. Because I did replace it and all other components seem to be working ok... I think. I don't have codes being thrown for anything else.

Did you clear the code from the PCM after installing the new TPS? Is the throttle plate or accelerator cable binding? Is the electrical connector clean and making good contact with the TPS?

Default words from the mechanic..

03SSLE,
Where do I reset the code from the PCM? Personal Computer Module? I had a mechanic use to ODB readers.. A Snap On and some inky dinky reader.

The snap on turned up nothing which is amazing because it's an expensive reader. The little reader pulled up TPS, misfire of number 6 piston. He cleared them and they came back.

Also all fuses turned up ok.

He also sprayed carb cleaner and found a suck leak underneath my intake manifold near piston 1. Might have to replace the gaskets. I think it's causing my slightly muffled and speratic "garble" sound in the muffler.

As for the TPS.. It's newly replaced.. the guy said he's worked on GM motors for years and the wiring that comes with it turns to crud after a few years.. so 03SSLE, as you said, I should probably spray the connectors down with conduit cleaner and see if I can get a clean connect from the wire. If this doesn't work, it's most definitely the wire.

The throttle plate and acceleration cable are A-ok.

I think I may have found the issue here.. just gotta do it now. Any other insight that may be helpful? Or better yet, what's it like to replace the wiring for this? I have a feeling it could be a nightmare..

Thanks guys,
Johnnie

If the codes were cleared but came back then the problem has not been resolved. With the additional info you provided I suspect the TPS is fine. It's possible that the code is being set because of the vacuum leak. A vacuum leak will cause an irratic idle. The computer is detecting it and thinks the TPS is malfunctioning so it is setting the code. The misfire code is probably the result of the vacuum leak also. I would focus on fixing the vacuum leak first and see if it resolves all the problems that are triggering the CEL.
