I recently did a motor swap on my 85 monte ss i put in a 355 pushing close to 400 ponies. but me and my buddy r stuck on the throttle cable bracket...the stock one bolted to the manifold but on my new aluminum one it has no place to bolt....im stuck between a rock and a hard place and ive been without my beloved monte for almost a month now i need it done!!!!!!....this is pretty much the last step before we set the timing..If u guys have any advice or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated

 

what carb are you running. check out this months issue of summit. page 27- 30. they bolt down using you carb bolt down fasteners.
