Default Throtle response, need help...

I have a 87 SS and my pick up is sluggish. Is there any quick things I could do to try and improve the power? Any help would so help me out. Thanx for your time.

Sluggish in your opinion or sluggish with something wrong? Has it had a tune-up? Any mods?

doubble check that the rear butter flys on the carb are opening when you put the hammer down,

make sure your choke isn't sticking and probably wouldn't be a bad idea to check your timing

if it still has the car and you live in a state that doese not require it rip it out it could be plugged, mine was starting to melt apart when i took mine off along wuth 90% of the emmisions junk
