Default Think I lost a metal shield (SS 2004 Supercharged)

The other day on the highway, I heard a noise like a metal object tumbling under my car. In the rearview mirror I briefly saw it rolling in the ditch. It was useless and dangerous to stop and try to find it. I wasn't even sure it was from my car. Nothing felt wrong so I drove home and looked around under the car and in the engine bay.

The only thing I see it could be is a metal shield over the driver side radiator fan motor. The passenger side motor has one.

I looked on my wifes 2002 and there is a shield but it is mounted on plastic pieces molded with the fan cover, I don't have those on mine like if there was never a shield there.

If anybody with this model could have a look under the hood, and tell me if there is a shield over the driver side radiator fan motor, I would greatly appreciate.

Thanks

The parts catalog shows a left and right fan shroud so yes, both fans should have a shroud.

Thank you.

Out of curiosity, where do you find a parts catalog ?
