I'm going to change my stat and I was wondering what temp range should I get ? Should I keep it at the 196 degree of go to the 180 degree ?

With the good weather coming ... followed by Summer ... I'd come down off the 0ne-ninety-six and find one in the one-eighty ... one-eighty-something range.

I think you can go to the one-eighty without having the "Check Engine" light come on for being out of the parameters.

I plan on moving into the 180-Degree Stat as soon as the Snow melts and its OK to work outside again!

Go to the 180 and expect no problems. Anything colder will throw a CEL.
