I there any way of resetting my mirror thermometer on my 2000 Monte Carlo ?

On your Monte Carlo the temperature should be displayed on the homelink panel coming off of the roof, not on the mirror.

If you have the temp in a mirror, it is probably not the correct mirror.

Is it just dashes right now? Is it showing ERR?

Your temperature sensor for that system might be unplugged or gone bad. I believe they are located near the radiator on the passenger side.
