Im getting about if I read right 160 -170 for my temp guage,not getting a lot of heat,its at a little above the next solid line on the temp guage after 140..think I need a hotter thermostat...what do you guys read on your cars?

 

Do you have a 50/50 mix ?

To much antifreeze will result in cooler running temps and no/low heat.

 

I got the car this way.. I have a old prestone tester i will see what it says

 

My temp runs at about 190
