Default Tail Light Removal

How does one remove the left tail light assembly on a 2002 Monte Carlo? I've removed the two nuts that protrude into the trunk but it is still secured.

The problem is that the tail lights on that side do not illuminate...yet the signal works. No fuses are blown. Any thoughts?

Many thanks.

Lyman

Thank you, Sir!

Given that the signal is working, and no fuses were found to be blown, any idea what may be causing this?

Thanks,

Lyman

You can probably pick up cheap bulbs at a boneyard as well. Just to save ya a couple bucks.

Yeah, nevermind the boneyard then. I haven't had to change one in years and don't even remember the car it was on but bulbs cost $10 bucks or so. If they are only a buck I would just buy them new then.
