Well finally put the new to me car on the lift last night. Looks like someone cobbled in an aftermarket cat. I did manage to change the downstream 02 sensor and took care of my last cel light and code. But I found holes in the exhaust behind the resonator and looks like it may start in front of it as well. I'd just like to weld in a new section of exhaust. Is this 2 1/4" tube that I need for that? Never welded on exhaust before, I'm sure it'll be hard with some of the rust. Any tips?

 

Anyone have any ideas?
