OK I know this is probably an unusual one I couldn't find anything on here about it....
My traction control button is really sticky. Obviously there has been some stuff spilled on the button. Does this thing pry out where I can clean it? I didn't wanna break it but it looks like the square cover around it maybe pries up? If it does whats a good way to clean this? The way it is now if I turn off the traction control its REAL slow to pop back up.

not sure where your button is, but if it's like my wife's Grand Prix, what a stupid place to put a button, in the center console, right in front of the drink holders.
We took out the whole center console for a good cleaning. The whole thing. Bunch of screws, wasn't hard. Then the button snaps out by pressing the tab and pulling. Its just like the button/connector holders in the door panels.
We also had sticky radio buttons on the steering wheel from spilled tea. We didn't take that apart, I used a spray contact cleaner. It's like a aerosol alcohol cleaner. Wasn't cheap, but worked great. And be careful with that stuff, highly flammable.
Good Luck.

Use a quick dry electronics cleaner that is safe around plastic. Spray it all around down between the button and housing while operating the switch several times. The switch should free up after a couple of cycles. Use the straw to spray so you don't get any of the cleaner on the top of the switch on the writing.

Yes! I have this issue too, seems with the cold temps it made it stickier. When the weather gets nicer, I'm going to undo the console and clean up areas, grease shifter, etc. If the car leaks/leaked, the moisture sitting in the car can create stuff to malfunction, especially buttons and moving parts.

Ah excellent thanks guys. At least I know it comes apart then without breaking it and it can be cleaned.
@TomF106SS YES in the same place right where you can spill drinks on it. Some engineer wasn't thinking when he came up with that.
