I hope for your sake you have something wrong too. Zero compression means something is not right at all.

Update: I brought it to the mechanic when I found 0 compression again. I thought the exhaust valve was burned since the exhaust was sucking air, then pushing it out.
The mechanic said the cylinder had 15psi, and a bad intake, $2200 to maybe fix. I brought it home, took it apart, and found what you see in the pictures. On the surface, do the valves look even remotely bad? I was first worried the piston was damaged because I noticed big indents in it, but when I check the others, they all have them...I'm hoping they're supposed to. And on the surface, I thought the valves looked ok, but maybe if they're tested they'll show they're not sitting correctly? Any advice on how to proceed? I was planning on bringing the head to a machine shop, but now I'm not sure. I noticed the cylinder 5 head, is not dark like the others.

Not sure if this is anything, but on top of the piston, I noticed that it almost looks like a milky liquid...could that possibly mean a crack in the cylinder head? I thought if it was a head gasket, the rest of the oil would look similar, so maybe the coolant leaking into the cylinder, which could explain the low compression?..I'm not sure if it even means anything or not.

Update: While I was looking over the engine, I thought I should take a look at the lifters, just because I saw the SS had a problem with them. It turns out, the wheel is ripped off the bottom, and the shell is bent! I'm not sure if I can even get it out...I think I solved my original misfire problem. I was looking around for any recalls on the 3.9l, but haven't seen any, but is this a common problem on them?
