Did you get the reusable rocker bolts?

Yea the rockers come with bolts and pushrods custom rocker pedestals and I got the LS6 valve springs so when I set my rev limiter to I'd say about 6300-6500 rpm the valves won't float if I want to let'er out. Stock these engines are good to about 6100 then the springs just can't keep up.

I was always told stock was only good to 5900, I really wouldn't go much more than 6200 even with your upgraded springs.

I probably won't just because the torque curve will be plummeting like a rock anywhere after 5600 anyway but the usable hp will probably be at it's peak around 6100-6300 but be more like a 5800-5900 overall peak. When it shifts it will still be a high enough rpm that it'll pull like mad.

As for the stock capability's I ran a tech 2 on my car after putting the hypertech in and the valves still hadn't began to float and I was at 6125 on the scanner, that's when I backed er off cuz it made me a bit nervous. Lol

Guess you were lucky, I kept my stock springs and with the ER Rockers I can't go over 5900RPM, which is more than enough for me, the only time I wish I had up to 6100-6200 is when I'm downshifting into 2nd at 70MPH and I wish I had that 2nd gear pull just a tad longer.

But the amount of HP you get back in the upper mph range is phenomenal with these mods.

The only thing I didn't like about the ER's was that they still had a non roller tip. And they are a stamped steel rocker still which is strong but the aluminum full roller is stronger and the pushrod seat wasn't "moved" and re-machined into it. Just my personal preference.
What about your push rods did you change them? How many km's or miles did you have on your engine when you did it?

155k miles. Same pushrods also. Nothing in my engine was bad when I did the work.

Still was nice to change the UIM gasket and valve cover gaskets as well.

my engine is just leaking coolant externally at the moment and its not very much the level hasn't gone down since i realized it was leaking and that was a month ago. the intense push rods are supposed to be lighter than stock but still stronger than stock and they come with the rockers.

So the job went well installing all of the parts. It feels like it lost a fair amount on the bottom end, but the top feels better than before. Pulls like crazy from 3800 rpm to 6000.
The Yella terra's are nice quality but wish the pedestals were marked for position. They could've gone 2 ways and only 1 is right obviously. It was kinda a guess until the bolts were torque'd down.
I'll post pics soon I promise I'm just tired and very sore from leaning over the front of the car for 12 hours today.
