Default Split Sway Bar

has anyone seen this one? I was replacing bushings and I found this...can you weld them?

Yes I have seen this on my 2005 Montecarlo SS . I wouldn't weld it, I got a new one..

You could probably weld it, but it is delaying the inevitable. These sway bars are hollow and sadly rot from the inside out most of the time.

ok,i guess its back to rock auto,i have a noise coming from left front,soon as i put in reverse I hear it for a sec,could be steering shaft,I need to replace also..is changing that bar a pain? i tried doing my 03 bonneville and could not get it out...

Get a solid one to make sure this don't happen again. And its not a pain as much. I think putting the new one in is the most annoying

get a new one, they are solid and don't cost very much, I suggest getting poly end link bushings too. it was a pain in the *** to install but well worth it!!

I want to make a strut brace,they get 130 for them..
