SeaFoam

SeaFoam
I was looking to use SeaFoam. I know you can add it to the gas tank, oil, and the intake to clean the engine. The first two are self explanatory but how do I go about the intake process? I've read to go through the brake booster vacuum line. But where is that? or any other suggestions how to do so? I have a 2004 3.8 Supercharged. Thanks

I did exactly what you said above and then Took the car on the highway at 120 KM's (Ontario,Canada) for about 10 minutes and all the way home on the regular roads the car kept trying too stall out and the rpm's were going up and down especially when I stopped at the lights.Stop sign. I only used a 1/3 if that of the can. Any Idea why this is happening?? Will it stop, Im really scared as Im out of work and cant afford any repairs.
Any suggestions?

You added the SeaFoam, shut the car off for around 15 minutes. Then started it up and let it idle for a bit, then take it for the final hard run?
Mine was rough for a bit, until it burned off, especially when I first started it as you have fluid in your engine. I probably did 30 miles in mine, and my highway runs, I used rest stops to slow down and go 0-85 a few times. You may just need to drive it a few more times, doesn't help that it's freezing cold around this time of the year.
Also, you sure you hooked the vacuum line back up completely and didn't leave a vac leak?

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me too. And if you didn't get a freaking ton of white smoke, you didn't do it right. The car should have been running when you put the Seafoam in the intake (then it would stall after adding about half a can, or at least that's what it did for me)

Seafoam
I am an idiot I just realized today after being scared that I wrecked my car that when I also cleaned my MAF sensor and IAC one of the small Vacuum lines like you said (The one where 2 small lines go in by the IAC) Plugged it back in and ran like a kitten. Thanks for the suggestions guys but ya the seafoam works awesome I already notice a huge difference But I didnt get very much smoke as last year I had a fuel flush done at GM.

Today I tried the seafoam again and this time I had to use one of the smaller vacuum lines too suck it up slowly because when I unhooked the brake booster line the engine went haywire and chugged big time and stunk badly so I shut the car off and reattached the hose too the brake booster and used the smaller line. Im waiting my fifteen minutes and will be going out too give it a go and see if I see a lot of white smoke or not haha, I will let you all know.
