I believe that your suggestion solved my intermittent radio reception problem in the post under that title, Rockn.

I checked the amplifier wires and none seemed to be loose but pressed on all of the connectors as long as my head was swiveled 180 degrees anyway.

Started up the car and drove about five miles and the radio performed perfectly as designed. No fading or almost nonexistent reception. Monday I have about fifty miles to drive in order to cover a couple of jobs. If it doesn't act up again during that trip, problem solved.

Thanks for your advice.

I got lucky!
I'm thrilled that was it, or at least that appears to be it. Easy fixes are the best ones.
