Default RH Turn Signal Failure After Air Bag Deployment

2001 Monte SS... Had a front end accident. It was fairly minor, but air bags both deployed. Left turn signal works fine and blinks at the proper speed, but now the right turn signal is completely dead with no front or rear illumination. The right green arrow on dash is dead also. However, the signal is clicking/cycling at a much faster rate than normal (can hear it clicking despite no lights). Has anyone ever experienced this problem after air bags deployed? Is it possible the violent action typical in bag deployment causes a stress on a wire harness nearby that is prone to breaking a terminal connection somewhere that affects the turn signal circuit? This is a wierd one.... need help.

Mark

The signal stalk is one piece. It is possible something struck the stalk (hand or arm) and caused the right signal to break. The removal and installation is not that bad. Look it up on YouTube. I would also check all bulbs front and back for any damaged bulbs. I hope you figure it out.

Thanks for the feedback. Found the problem. It was in the column switch. I don't think the accident had anything to do with it. I recall the turn signal/high beam switch becoming somewhat problematic weeks before the accident, so I suspect timing was a coincidence.
