I am trying to remove the retractable half of the belt; they have small tabs and will not fit into the GM logo'd big tab buckle. I am going to a large swap meet this weekend, and would like to take the small tab with me to try to find two buckles that fit.

I'm sure the plastic cover pops off in some fashion, but don't want to pry too hard and break any plastic tabs or whatever may be holding it on. Any insight on how to remove without damage would be greatly appreciated.
