There are two kinds of stepper motors -- you will want the upgraded ones, I have forgotten the number. Very cheap. I ordered mine on ebay I think, a couple years ago -- 5 or 6 steppers and bulbs for less than $30. if you're handy at soldering I don't think it's a big job.
