If it's a FWD Monte,

Disconnect battery and disconnect necessary wiring connectors. Unbolt the wiring harness from the firewall, remove axles, remove throttle cables, and unbolt the downpipe... Unbolt the engine mount, trans mount, and dogbones and it should come out. I'm sure I'm missing something, but that's the jist of it.

So my son is having some problems finding parts that connect up, the ac pump is missing and the power steering pump is missing, as well as a pulley,
> finding the part numbers to match these up has been a issue .
the stamp on the block is 24507253.

Car is a 03 monte carlo, SS 3.4 SFI

Default 3.4 ltr - V6 sorry ill correct that .

Sorry for the error . We are trying to locate the a c pump and ps pump and pulley off the new engine . But having problems identifying the engine since its different . Ive got the cast number , tried crossing it with gms cast number . Theres a number on the bracket . There used to be a site that would tell you everything in your vin . This is a S series from the stamp on the cast . Now to find the parts!
