Default Rear Brakes on 2007 Monte Carlo

Can anyone please tell me if the rear caliper needs a screw in tool or can it be pushed in with a C-clamp for my 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo

C clamp and be sure to open the bleeder to expel the dirty/burnt/old brake fluid, while compressing the piston.
The screw in type is only required when the caliper is used for parking brake mechanisms. We have a top hat type parking brake, separate cable operated system.
