Default Radio problem.

Hey guys. My radio has a bit of a problem. It turns on works but no sound comes out. No hissing or static even plays through the speakers. Anyone had this happen before? Any suggestions?

When do you guys suggest a PCV valve replacement? I will be doing LIM and valve cover gasket replacements within the week and I was wondering if I should get a new pcv.

Start seeing if the speakers get signal. I'd personally just change the valve because they are cheap and I like to do extra so I don't have to work on it later - especially since I am in an apartment so the vehicle is outside and not always available to work on; the entire weekend has been rainy in TX for instance.

I'm lucky and live in a condo with a parking garage. I just need permission from management to take apart my engine for some reason. Probably fluids they're worried about. I'm going to head down and see what's behind the dash radio-wise.

Keep us posted. Also what radio setup do you have? Does it have an amp?

Could be a couple different problems usually amp. related.

1. Check the fuse for the amp.

2. Check wiring at the passenger side door sill for a short.

Plumbob that's totally it. Although I have to remove the bottom part of seat belt and the rear passenger snap on cover is way bigger, I found the problem. When I get to work I can replace the wiring with the correct Guage. Appreciate the help
