radiator drain plzzz help

Default radiator drain plzzz help

83 monte. The wing type nut wnt go up as I try to screw it on.... did I fk it up

Are you trying to remove the drain, or put it back on? On the older cars, they are brass and easier to use than the newer cars with the plastic ones. If you screwed the wing nut up, you can just replace it with the same size bolt.

I don't try to use the plastic wing nut drains on the newer cars, since I broke one once trying to undo it. I just take the lower radiator hose off now.

I Was trying to tighten it...I bent the wing and un screwed it wit a ratchet n jus replaced it wit a new one frm carquest
