Default Pulling Off Lower Driver Door Panel For Peak Inside

Can someone tell me how to pull out the lower driver panel? I hear some noises and noticed it is a little loose toward the lower back. I would like to pull it out and take a peak inside there?

Does anyone have a picture of what the door of a monte carlo looks like with the inside panel pulled off?

I've never pulled off the door panel, so i'm sorry, but I can't help you here.

But, have you looked through the how-to section of the forum. I'm sure someone has pulled off a door panel to replace speakers, or a window regulator. And you may even find some pictures. Check it out!

To take off door panel. First remove all the screws, then gently pry the lower panel out to you . slowly pull up the panel.

Can you tell me if the clips that hold the door panel are attached/part of the overall panel or are they little clips that can be replaced easily? If they are little clips, are they unusable after the panel is pulled out? Thanks.

Joe, IDK exactly how the Monte is. But I have pulled the door panel off my 89 Chevy truck, and after you get all the screws out, its held on by a bunch of plastic push in clips. You put the clips onto the door panel first, and then push on the panel. I guess you could re-use the push clips, but they get pretty boogered up after you yank them out. IMO, you should buy new once when you put the panel back on. (they are like $12.00 for enough for the whole door, and can be bought at Kragens). If you don't replace them, the door panel might not fit as snug, and might rattle.
