Default Problem with door/lock on 1995 Z34

Whats up people, anyone know why the door lock would get stuck? I have to manually lock/unlock my driver side door the switch will only open the passenger side. Also, I've noticed that when I open the driver side door the lights dont come on in the car. Anyone know what can be causing these problems?

I've also tried opening the panel and spraying WD-40 in the latch and on the rods, nothing worked there...

Use a MM ( Multi-Meter ) to verify that there is voltage at the Door Lock Actuator ( the motor that moves the door locks). If there is 12V there, then its your motor, if you dont, then i would try to see f you have 12V at the swithc. It seams to me that your going to have to do some searching with a MM to see whats really going on when you hit the switch.
