I was looking at flushing the power steering fluid on my 02 Monte 3.4L. I was going to replace the power steering return hose as well, but noticed it had that single use clamp on the top part of the hose. Do you just use cutters to cut the part that sticks out on the clamp? Not really sure how to get the upper clamp off.

Can you use a worm gear clamp on the lower part of the hose? Not sure if there is room for the screw driver or socket to get to a worm gear clamp compared just using the OEM spring clamp.

And I'm assuming the hose is 3/8"?
